Ey up!

My name is Matt Brailsford and I’m a .NET developer based in Huddersfield, England who specialises mainly in the development of websites and applications built with the Open Source CMS, Umbraco (I’ve even got a certificate to prove it).

Having been in Web for over 10 years, I’ve worked with a number of CMSs, including ones I’ve written myself (Haven’t we all?), but nowadays I work almost exclusively with Umbraco , due in part to its simple interface and endlessly extendable infrastructure, but mainly because of its awesome community.

The aim of this blog then, is for me to give something back. I’ll be sharing my experiences, and thoughts on all things Umbraco, and hope that I’ll be able to add something of value to an already invaluable community.

If you have anything you’d like my opinion on, or would just like to shoot the breeze on anything Umbraco, just drop me a comment. Alternatively, you’ll often find me prowling the Umbraco forums and tweeting my mouth off on twitter, so feel free to get in touch.

Enjoy what you do.
